Truetone model dc 5983 this phonograph would probably be best for repair parts. The phonograph is portable but weighs approximately 28 pounds. There may be other small issues i'm not aware of into electronics, and this was given to me about 30 years ago.
Definitely needs a new needle. I've never played any records on it till I tried one before posting. Unless a different shipping method is requested.
The four-speed turntable seems to be turning at right speed, but i'm not positive. If you're at all capable of working on this i'm not, I think it could ultimately play very well. The retaining ring that holds turntable down is missing. The cabinet has some scuffs along edges but not severe.
The balance knob is missing, but balance, loudness, and tone all seem to work. May be fixable for someone with knowledge and time. The speakers work okay but not great may be a loose wire or an electronic component.
