I have tested this but only 1 time because as was trying it out the turntable to start spinning when switched and had lifted up on one side noticed 2 wires were not connected underneath saw original plug some places cord coating crumbling off. Unfortunately the turntable arm got loose, from where pin or screws hold it in place and allow to move correct way match up record for playing, now is laying but not completely mounted. Selling as needs parts repair but almost Evert thing works. And no one I usually get help repairing old units has seen either.

The wires were all connected but someone else was looking at it and moving to another place so arm mount may both need parts or repair on. Then I used my hand to push lightly on the turntable and kind of assisted it around began spin its own power. I do tinker with the random 15 or 20 vintage antique turntables have had but don't consider myself a repair refurbishing person for these. When I switched to turntable setting it wan't moving but see struggling turn if from radio turntable and back forth trying get started.

And as I was turning the unit over to see why it had struggled start sounding like lightly rubbing against something below. And I will have no problem promptly answering anything with complete honesty, because want someone who can repair this to it so that doesn't just sit around get thrown out is a really cool piece should make for great man cave item or conversation as well. This unit should not be real complicated for the person with more knowledge than I have. Before I had noticed any of those wires was able to turn on the radio and back light dial showing what station it as turned tuning knob adjusted should.

For that reason I am selling this unit as-is so don't mistakenly do more damage than good to mid-century which haven't seen many of available locally or online.
