Hello, listed is a vintage Acoustic Research AR77-XB belt drive turntable. Questions that I cannot respond to include: how does this sound. It compare XS.

This listing includes an original ar needle force gauge seesaw lever type with all of the, 1, and 2 gram test weights, original, box, instructions, as well a few other misc accessories.

1 gram vertical. I already have a lot of my valuable time into servicing this and composing yet another one world-famous thorough listings.

In short, my time is limited. This listing was painstakingly composed to be thorough and accurate.

2 gram horizontal.

The head shell collect is fine. This model is for operation on 120 volt 60 Hz line power. The main spindle bearing was checked for noise and radial play.

I have checked the tonearm for excessive vertical and horizontal friction its less than. Long and multiple questions that are born of boredom, hyper audiophile exuberance, or a need to chat. The tonearms single ball horizontal thrust bearing is intact, and everything works as it should.

A standard same type universal head shell is not compatible with the ar tonearm and will damage if one attempts forced installation. The belt was OK, so that not changed. By no more, i'm stating that I cannot provide communication now or in the future to anything not strictly and simply related sale of this listing.

The original head shell is included, but has usual broken locking teeth or threads, so will need to be replaced. Aggressive or derogatory comments questions. Are not careful with your installations.
