I reset the speed to factory and mechanically cleaned lubricated motor, same as do for all my other tables. There were less than 200 of the AP-Series ever produced. The included power supply is very nice, torridly type that I use for my other components. This is a VERY heavy and solid built table, of course it sounds amazing.
I purchased this as a plinth only, no motor in the box. The AP-M2 originally used the AC Synchronous motor for RX-80 and those motors are unicorns, I have never seen a replacement ever come up sale. Apparently, it was a replacement for customer but just sat on the shelf. Wood en frame made from Brazilian Rosewood with a sub-chassis and platter special zinc alloy.
This eliminated any possibility electrical noise and means the table runs on 15VDC power supply is powered 120VAC, no step-down required. They are also great because the electronics uses standard components, no obsolete Incs. Because it did not have the motor, he was never able to find replacement motor. Electrically it has been re-capped and the power supply updated with new transistors rectifier diodes.
Table comes with the original box and all packaging. This is the Micro Seiki AP-M2, sibling to AP-M1. Same as what is used on the other Micro tables I mentioned above.
