This changer was removed from 1954 Magnavox CP251M PHONOGRAPH Console. Ask any and all questions BEFORE purchase. The metal trim plate with speeds is loose but simply needs to be regaled in place. It should be a straight-forward restoration and when complete, make wonderful mid-century WebCor record changer for many applications.
I had planned on restoring this record changer and related parts from a 1954 Magnavox tube console but due to health problems. The flocking on the platter is in excellent shape for its age. Buyer should find the Photo Facts or Service Manual before trying to restore this vintage RC. It has cables with the correct plugs.
Ask any and all questions BEFORE buying. I just don't have the time or energy. Really hate to let this go. Console had no tuner.
I'm including the original Magnavox 'Phonograph owners manual which is in outstanding shape. I did not inspect the idler wheels/tires or do any testing. One for power that connects to chassis of the 128tube and one 2-prong plug connecting 129 preamps. Since 1990, I have enjoyed collecting and restoring antique radios vintage audio.
