The box feels like metal giving which also gives it a cool booming sound. You can put the volume knob into silent but it takes some play. Its not just a 4 speed turntable but also PA built in with separate volume and tone controls. The volume adjusts either way but sometimes the baseline is audible because pot acting up.

The video illustrates the issue well. Pots need some cleaning and/or attendance. This one is so cool I want to keep it for myself but don't have the space. The needle is in great shape.
