The turntable turns on at all 3 speeds both snap side closures work well, however. Remember this is a vintage item but has been cared for. I don't know the exact date but it was from 1970's. The player does work and produces sound.

This was my personal sears Record player as a child. I used some old Records that had unfortunately they were scratched so it was hard to determine if the needle needs replaced or speaker isn't as perfect be due distortion of sound at times. The knobs for volume and tone turn on off.

Please look carefully at all the pics and - sold as is. The arm is in great shape as resting and locking area for. The volume does adjust up and down.
