5 x 9 inches, closed. Mechanism works fine only problem it falls a little short on the 45 rpm records. Oh yeah, measures 24.

White steel is pretty much flawless. There are some snags and paint spatter on grill cloths. Item works.

These are easy access unlike the plastic ones which glued shut. See photos for more details. Cosmetically item is excellent. This is the grooviest suitcase record player I have ever come across.
