This is a never used Norelco ag 2101D 54 auto record player. Main issue with this player is that there is a foam rubber disk on the inside that acts as a cushion for the player mechanism, it is deteriorating from age and should be replaced prior to operation. The small emblem that I have seen on other units is missing, looks like the glue dried up and it simply fell off. Other units I have seen have the Phillips name on the front plastic this player shows no evidence of any name glued to the plastic.
I removed the cover to show the inside which has original tag and stylus protector which must be removed prior to operating. The cover is in great shape with no dents or scratches. It looks simple enough to replicate out of a new piece of foam rubber. The plastic front is in very good shape with a couple of small scratches which in my opinion can be easily buffed out all in all looks about 98 per cent.
The small wood blocks are in place to secure the mechanism from bouncing around during shipping and were installed at the factory. Original wire with inline fuse is in fine shape. Loosen up the screws and they come out easily.
