The phonograph itself retains its original velvet surface for the records to rest when being played. The case has been cleaned and polished to cover all the light scratch marks, however, the corners still show normal wear of something this age and the handle is missing some of the leather, although still sturdy and very functional.

The crank easily turns, however, is missing the end handle.

It is just one of the most romantic pieces and simply touches my heart. This Antique watch tower bible tract society portable phonograph comes as shown inside it's original dark brown carrying case. What a gorgeous piece.

It is shown with a wood en thread spool, however, is simply bare metal underneath. The lid retains the original label from the watch tower bible tract society and indicates it is made in the USA and has a serial number of 20959w for those of you wanting to do any further research on this piece. I will also accept credit and debit cards through my brick and mortar store.

All is forgiven when you see the overall beauty of this wonderful piece, which is close to 100 years old.
