A few minor marks, dings and small creases, but a beautiful horn overall, perfect complement to the phonograph. The motor is still robust, and the phonograph can easily make it through a cylinder or two with single winding. A tiny chip in the rear corner of lower molding, but that's cabinets only concession to age or wear. The Edison signature on the vertical plane of casting is still crisp and prominent.

The Automatic reproducer has a good stylus, and the tube plate weight are both in shape. The reproducer clips are original, as the tiny screws. No wood repairs, no refinishing, restoration of any type. The 2-CLIP Standard was the very first iteration of Edison Standard, an enormously popular phonograph that in production with various design changes for more than 15 years.

The crank, like the rest of phonograph, is original and in excellent condition, with glossy black enamel that exhibits minimal wear. Sure, you can probably get a lower price from Joe and Janet Barn-Find, but when your bargain arrives broken, without any hint of how it works or might be able to put back together, you'll realize that really do exactly what pay for. Mechanically and cosmetically, this phonograph is just about mint, there are no reproduction or replacement parts. Condition of this example is exceptional.

Original enamel on the bed plate is still deep black and glossy, gold detailing along bed plates periphery close to perfect. The cabinet finish is likewise close to perfect, and there are no cracks in the lid; nor any baseboard.
