The main issues I found, is the platter does not spin on the 78 setting. Not sure about the age of the needle, but if your vinyl is in good shape, it plays and sounds fine. Overall in very good cosmetic condition for it's age.

The lift off dust cover has some scratches on top, but no breaks or cracks. And I do detect a slight audio thump when the record is in play.

This is a very rare vintage 1971 v m Voice of Music model pro series stereo turntable. A new replacement for this model can commonly be found on for about 15 delivered all functions have been audio tested with 33 and 45 rpm records, and is in working condition. Selling as is. Idler wheel drive.

2nd only to the model has a shure cartridge and needle. Although playable in it's current state, due to it's age, this unit will need to be to be serviced and lubed for peak performance. Has a touch up on one rear corner of the plinth, and is missing the front logo badge.

This model was v m's 2nd best turntable in free shipping. For peak performance, I would suggest replacing the needle.
