2. Durability: These turntables are built to last. They have heavy, solid construction, which helps to reduce vibrations and maintain stability during playback. The direct-drive motors also contribute to their durability, as they are less prone to wear and tear than belt-drive motors.

3. Versatility: Both turntables support a range of playback speeds, including 33 1/3, 45, and 78 RPM. They also have built-in phono preamps, which means they can be connected directly to a stereo system without the need for an external phono preamp.

4. Customization: Both the Harman Kardon AT-1200SA and Technica 1200SA ST-6 turntables have adjustable tone arms and cartridges, which allow for fine-tuning of the sound quality. This means that users can adjust the tracking force and anti-skating settings to get the best possible sound out of their vinyl records.

Cons of buying Harman Kardon Linear Tracking Rabco AT-1200SA or Technica 1200SA ST-6 Turntables:

1. Price: Both the Harman Kardon AT-1200SA and Technica 1200SA ST-6 turntables are relatively expensive compared to entry-level turntables. This may be a barrier to entry for some potential buyers.

2. Complexity: These turntables have many features and settings that can be overwhelming for beginners. While this can be a pro for experienced audiophiles who want to fine-tune their sound, it can be a con for those who just want to plug and play.

3. Size: Both turntables are quite large and heavy, which can be a disadvantage for those with limited space or mobility.

Conclusion:

Based on the pros and cons, the Harman Kardon Linear Tracking Rabco AT-1200SA or Technica 1200SA ST-6 turntables are excellent choices for audiophiles who prioritize high-quality sound and durability. Their adjustable settings allow for customization, and their support for a range of playback speeds makes them versatile. However, their high price and complexity may be a barrier to entry for some potential buyers. Ultimately, the decision to buy one of these turntables depends on an individual's budget, listening preferences, and space constraints.

Recommendation:

If you are an audiophile who values high-quality sound and durability and has the budget and space for it, the Harman Kardon Linear Tracking Rabco AT-1200SA or Technica 1200SA ST-6 turntables are excellent choices. Details:

While I was inside I lightly dusted everything. Nice and thick dust cover that's simple to remove.

No silly buttons and stuff that no one uses. Turntable has been tested and works great.

This was a long, tedious and difficult process to complete. Shipping within the USA is free on media and first class shipped items. Auto shut off at the end of a record.

Only the necessary buttons. This record player is so simple to use, and easy to make adjustments. I have experience in shipping record players and will take the time and effort to do all the necessary work it takes to get the record player to you in one piece.

To ship to Canada, but it costs 18. The shipping costs listed are a guess and are most likely too high. All parts and pieces are accounted for and working great.

Brushed aluminum silver casing. A light hum was heard when not using the ground wire, but sound was perfectly clean and crisp when connected.

Needle is used but still sounds great. We ve been selling cool vintage stuff, obscure antiques, interesting collectibles and anything related to music for a year now. Rca hookups are attached to the unit and come with its own grounding wire. This was brought to my attention after listing this turntable.

Does not come with a 45 rpm spindle adapter. No nonsense, totally manual turntable.

I am including a scanned copy of the service manual that I have saved from a file the original manual is not present, but the copy i'm including in this offer is 100 complete and very helpful. This is just something that will need tweaking honestly, it's the only novelty feature on this player, so it's not really completely necessary.

I have taken the opportunity to adjust the settings for the tonearm, but they may need readjusting after shipping.

That's it for switches. The outer casing has some light scuffs and scratches, and same with the dust cover.

Included with this turntable is a audio technica at 1200sa stylus cartridge.

On Nov at PST, update the extra tonearm counterweight is not present.

Or under, media mail if over 9 oz. Record buyers are encouraged to use the grading chart listed above. The auto stop doesn't seem to want to work with a 45 rpm record, but worked when I tested an LP.

Please, if you're going to bid, be prepared to pay as soon as possible. Please understand that we often pay for boxes and packing supplies which is figured into shipping prices.

LP records never weigh below 9 oz, so they always ship media mail items weighing under 13 oz will always ship first class unless it's a media item, then we'll use the cheapest method. Please understand that these new prices are out of our control.

Simplicity like one on off button, a 45 and 33 rpm speed changer, and a cue lever.

I was not aware of the extra counterweight until recently. Dumping action cue lever.

Again, it's all in the service manual.

The casing around the speed switch has a broken piece underneath and has been glued back in place.
